Broken Bones

Eloise fell of the couch at grandma's house on a Wednesday. After the fall she was grumpy, sad and tired. I noticed that she didn't like her arm to be touched but she seemed to be using it so I did not think much of it. Saturday morning came and Eloise fell into the bathtub after her favorite shark toy. Again this fall caused her arm pain and she kept holding it and would not let anyone touch it. Bryce took her in to the hospital in MH and sure enough it was broken. So she came home feeling pretty special with a pretty pink cast. By the time we went to church Sunday the cast had fallen off three times. So Bryce took her in again and they wrapped it in a tensor bandage and told us to go to the Children's Hospital when we got back to Calgary (the doc there in MH had apparently never done a cast so small). So Sunday night took Bryce and Eloise to the hospital for the third time for a not so pretty but properly fitting white cast. So the next three weeks we will be dealing with a small cast and a much happier Eloise.

Canada Day

We went to heritage Park this year with our friends Matt, Dagmara and their beautiful girls Misha and Shahara for Canada Day celebrating. Despite the cold wind we had a great time and felt very patriotic.

Cousins Cousins Cousins

Some shots of the fun we have been having so far this summer.

Great grandparents Salmon came to Medicine Hat for a few days to enjoy the adventures of great grandchildren.
Uncle Travis was husband and father to all while Cheri and I were husbandless. Thanks Trav!
See they do love each other despite the biting.

Explorations of the yard with a little plumber bum for your viewing pleasure.

Hair and Babies

With 6 kids 3 and under in the house things can always get a bit crazy. With 6 kids 3 and under in the house a grad date to prepare for everything is crazy. Jodie was Brodie Hill’s grad date this year and the morning of pictures Leanne, Jodie and I were left with all the kids and some very pretty hair to make. This is a shot of the prep and a shot Leanne took of the cute couple on the big day.

The Summer Begins

We finally finished our renovations and as soon as the last of the cleaning and staging was done I packed up the kidlets and headed for Medicine Hat. I was not too excited to show our home while living in it so we took sad days away from Bryce to be with cousins and Grandparents. It worked out great since Cheri and her cute kiddies were also around for two weeks. We did sell our house in 4 days and returned to Calgary to spend Canada Day with Bryce, but when the sale fell though we returned to MH, and sold it again 2 days later. Bryce did a great job of keeping the condo sparkling while we were gone and we love him for that. We are currently homeless and still in the process of finding the perfect place for our family.

Sam and Tony enjoy some Grandpa love.

Sam loved playing on the floor and grandmas because he had a front row seat to all the action and he learned how to roll from back to front (then he acts like a beached whale)
Daily Popsicle fix.
I think this shot pretty much sums up summer life a grandma's dancing, nakedness and lots of diaper wipes.
