The Work Continues

We have been continuing to work toward listing our house and it has been consuming our time and thoughts all month. Tomorrow we have a interior designer coming over with our real estate agent to give us some staging tips which should be one of the final steps before listing. I can't wait to have our precious condo on the market and thankfully we have family close that will take us in while we have showing, but I am dreading having to keep the place immaculate all the time. Just trying to clean the place up to get us this far has been enough of an adventure...for example last night while I was making dinner Eloise dropped a glass bottle of vinegar on the newly tiled kitchen floor which didn't seem like a big deal except for the shards of glass everywhere. Until this morning when the vinegar had left our grout a darker color in the spots that it touched! While I was trying to redeem the discolored grout Eloise found a felt pen and started drawing on the tiles behind me...two steps forward one step back. Needless to stay while our condo is up for sale we are planning to be out of town as much as possible.

Here are some photos of the kiddies playing while my mom, sister and I got some of the very much needed deep cleaning done. Thank you Leanne and mom it was so wonderful to have your help!

Now if we could only find a house to buy...

Dinner Time Blues

This is what dinner time looks like at our house. Who knew chicken pot pie could be so devastating. Maybe someday Eloise will learn the love of food but for now it is pasta and bread for her.

Renovations

We have been tiling and painting our kitchen and bathroom in preparation for the possible sale of our house in the near future. Bryce stayed home from work Monday to work and as soon as Eloise saw an opportunity she found a scrapper in the other room and came to 'help'.

This morning I stared cleaning and taping the walls and again Eloise was very willing to lend a 'helping' hand. It is so nice to have such a good helper around.
